HIIT stands for high-intensity interval training. It's a great way to get your daily dose of exercise in one short and intense burst.
The NHS has created a series of five introductions to HIIT training sessions. HIIT is a great way to burn calories effectively through quick bursts of intense exercise, mixed with lower intensity periods of rest. Regular bursts of intense exercise may even be more effective for weight loss than less-intense workouts.
These workouts are suited for people who can easily get on and off the floor. It is for beginners and those with a medium level of fitness, who are already familiar with high-intensity workouts.
