Not eating breakfast could be harmful to our bodies. Studies show that there are several important reasons to eat breakfast every single morning, no matter how busy you are and even if you aren't very hungry.

If you are looking to lose weight or maintain recent weight loss, eating breakfast is crucial. Eating a small, sensible breakfast will help you curb hunger throughout the day. Having good, wholesome food in your system means you're less likely to reach for unhealthy snacks throughout your day.

This is important if you are caring for others. Setting a healthy example for children is important to their health and awareness as they grow. Demonstrate the importance of healthy eating by not skipping the most important meal of the day.

Don’t forget, our bodies are 70 per cent water! Hydrating first thing in the morning will give your body the boost it needs to start the day. Try drinking a glass of water or two with your breakfast – you’ll feel the benefits.

In this model, all behaviour is influenced by understanding a person’s capability to change, their opportunity to change and their motivation to change. By understanding which of these is the biggest barrier to change, we can tailor support accordingly. This model of behaviour change is at the centre of the support we offer, online and in person.
