workplace Wellbeing is fundamental to staff engagement and productivity.

How's the wellbeing culture of your workplace? Skills, knowledge and motivation are ingredients of healthy lifestyle change. Drive the wellbeing of your organisation through our workplace wellbeing workshops.

Using our expertise in behaviour change, we support individuals to initiate lifestyle changes that benefit their physical health and wellbeing at work. Multiply this across your workforce and you'll increase your workforce's health and wellbeing.

Our Workplace Wellbeing workshops typically last 1.5 – 3 hours and are suitable for groups up to a size of 20. They are highly interactive with opportunities to discuss and learn from other participants.

Workshop 1: Five Ways to Workplace Wellbeing

  • Be inspired to live by the Five Ways to Workplace Wellbeing. Build a personal action plan to integrate these values into your lifestyle as well as sharing ideas with those that you work with and support.
  • 1.5 hrs
  • £175 inclusive of staff Health MOTs

Workshop 2: Managing Stress, Building Resilience

  • Recognise stress for yourself and those around you. Swap temporary coping with long term stress-management techniques and tools.
  • 1.5 hrs
  • £175 inclusive of staff Health MOTs

Workshops 1 and 2 can be delivered as a combined half-day session for £350.

  • Ambassadors for wellbeing at work are a powerful way to support staff from within your organisation.
  • This workshop provides key staff with skills to plan and support their colleagues' wellbeing at work.

Workshop 4: Workplace Wellbeing Strategies

  • Explore workplace culture and consider solutions to workplace wellbeing.
  • Examine the impact and influence of staff wellbeing on the working environment. Develop strategies to implement changes to support workplace wellbeing.

  • £750

LiveWell Dorset is exempt from VAT.

 

When you book one of these workplace wellbeing workshops, we'll conduct onsite Health MOTs with your staff free of charge. 

Additional Services

HEALTH MOTS:

  • Provide an opportunity for staff to measure their lung age, BMI, blood pressure and receive signposting to further support. The first session is free of charge to companies purchasing workplace wellbeing workshops.

 

CONSULTANCY:

  • Staff Wellbeing at work survey with a report, needs analysis and recommendations.

RSPH Approved

Our workshops are approved by the Royal Society for Public Health. RSPH has long recognised the importance of education to have a powerful influence on the health and wellbeing of others. The RSPH accreditation confirms the quality of the training suite in meeting its objective. LiveWell Dorset training strengthens the confidence of staff and volunteers, providing knowledge and skills to better execute their important work.

Utilising her experience as a manager of HR, Learning and Development and Organisational Development departments, Julia’s role is to inspire organisations to embed living well at the heart of company culture. Having spent 30 years as a HR and business development professional Julia has been responsible for training and developing staff to ensure the health and growth of major international corporations.

An advocate of training and staff development, Julia now works with companies to ensure that their people are the healthy heart of their organisations, by communicating health and wellbeing initiatives in the workplace.

How does this work?

The tailored approach LiveWell Dorset uses to come up with solutions to the things that are stopping us achieving our goals, is based upon work done by University College London developing the COM-B model of behaviour change. In this model, all behaviour is influenced by understanding a person’s capability to change, their opportunity to change and their motivation to change. By understanding which of these is the biggest barrier to change, we can tailor support accordingly. This model of behaviour change is at the centre of the support we offer, online and in person.
