Health and wellbeing culture change in your workplace

Wellbeing is fundamental to staff engagement and productivity. How's the wellbeing culture of your workplace? Skills, knowledge and motivation are ingredients of healthy lifestyle change. Drive the wellbeing of your organisation through our training workshops.

Using our expertise in behaviour change, we support individuals to initiate lifestyle changes that benefit their physical health and wellbeing. Multiply this across your workforce: we'll increase your workforce's health and wellbeing.

Workshops typically last 1.5 – 2 hours and are suitable for groups up to a size of 20. They are highly interactive with opportunities to discuss and learn from other participants.


Workshop 1. Five Ways to Wellbeing
  • Be inspired to live by the Five Ways to Wellbeing. Build a personal action plan to integrate these values into your lifestyle as well as sharing ideas with those that you work with and support.
  • 1.5 hrs
Workshop 2. Managing Stress, Building Resilience
  • Recognise stress for yourself and those around you. Swap temporary coping with long term stress-management techniques and tools.
  • 1.5 hrs

Workshops 1 and 2 can be delivered as a combined half-day session.

Workshop 3: Healthy Conversations
  • Invaluable skills to support people to take steps towards a healthier lifestyle. Empower and support others to make a personalised plan for change.
  • 1.5 hrs


Skills to inspire motivation and commitment

Workshop 4: Motivating Others
  • Build awareness of the principles of Motivational Interviewing (MI) and apply practical techniques. Explain the Stages of Change and how we can support clients to move through them.
  • 2 hrs

Workshops 3 and 4 can be delivered as a combined half-day session.


Workplace wellbeing, engagement and productivity

Workshop 5: Workplace Strategies
  • Explore workplace culture and consider solutions to wellbeing.
  • Examine the impact and influence of staff wellbeing on the working environment. Develop strategies to implement changes to support wellbeing.
  • Full day

Additional Services


  • Provide an opportunity for staff to measure their lung age, BMI, blood pressure and receive signposting to further support. Free of charge to companies purchasing workshop sessions.


  • Staff Wellbeing survey with a report, needs analysis and recommendations. Price on enquiry.

How does this work?

The tailored approach LiveWell Dorset uses to come up with solutions to the things that are stopping us achieving our goals, is based upon work done by University College London developing the COM-B model of behaviour change. In this model, all behaviour is influenced by understanding a person’s capability to change, their opportunity to change and their motivation to change. By understanding which of these is the biggest barrier to change, we can tailor support accordingly. This model of behaviour change is at the centre of the support we offer, online and in person.
